1170 acres served in 1889
1185 acres served in 1898
1245 acres served in 1914
Hayden Report (1940) calls Verde Ditch Company a corporation, with 10 shares of stock. However, in the 1979 statement of claim, Verde Ditch Company filed as an unincorporated ditch company. No records show up for Verde Ditch Company in the ACC online records.
Hancock, in his 1914 report, says the upper end of the canal was located and built by the Government for Indians and Wales Arnold in 1868. The lower end located and built by R.C. Campbell, John Davis, John Wood, Abe Kuntz, Jackson Thompson, in 1871.
The Verde Ditch Company is committed to deliver water allowed by
historic rights to the Verde Ditch shareholders as efficiently as possible.
